Georgie decides that she has to go out and brace the weather to try and find help. That’s where she meets, Vektal, who is seven foot blue, massive giant alien. I love that alien romance is when they can’t communicate because every alien book has translated ships, every single one.

What they uncover is a stunning truth the Others never anticipated, one with the potential to free the brainwashed human race. An elegant, sophisticated alien species on the verge of extinction has invaded Earth and confined an entire generation of young women, after negotiating a treaty with the world’s governments. But when Cara’s classmates get swept up by anti-L’eihr paranoia, Midtown High School suddenly isn’t safe anymore. Threatening notes appear in Cara’s locker, and a police officer has to escort her and Aelyx to class. We make discovering books entertaining, informative, and socially engaging. And most importantly, we believe that the best recommendations come from people you know and trust.

This eldritch planet where she has found herself is unlike anything she had ever imagined. She, along with the few surviving members, are seemingly saved from this planet’s ferocity by an alien. What if we were visited by extraterrestrials a long time ago, but they left because of our ignorance?

Do I believe in there’s something out there? I had been reading Heroic and Epic Fantasy for years, and I’d purposely avoided reading Sci-Fi, convinced that it would influence my burgeoning plot development. I wanted to maintain my plot integrity and not be subconsciously led by other authors in the genre (but of course I couldn’t avoid the influence of the SF I watched on TV). Of course, I was missing out on some great writing. I was enthralled by this story—it combined an undead trope with space opera, as the ‘risen empire’ maintains its territory while facing an external threat from the technologically hybrid Rix. The fictional science was breathtaking and not without research, but what stuck in my mind was the drone warfare, something I used in my own book.

And much of that inspiration comes from our books. So we rounded up 20 can’t-miss alien books for the extraterrestrial obsession in all of us. From new favorites like Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary to the forever-classic Alien, these alien-focused books will help feel your craving for all things interstellar.

While they may not find each other physically attractive, they share a kinship that goes beyond physical appearances. The Krinar Experiment is a fun alien romance that you won’t want to put down once you’re thrust into the fascinating world of the Krinar. Set in the Krinar universe, Hettie Ivers’s novella is a sexy alien romance between a young journalist and a seductive alien. For twenty years, the yang’ti have lived in captivity after crash-landing on Earth. They had no intention of staying, but the humans had a different idea.

However, as Simon improves, Gemma is struck with an unsettling realization that the feeble alien may not be as powerless as she thought. Rian’s initial suspicions towards the alien quickly fade when she realizes that the warrior is the least of her concerns. It’s everyone outside of the cell that poses a threat. Now stranded on an alien planet with no means of returning home, the elements will become the least of the survivors’ concerns.

Armed with a single blade and a will to live, Rian enters the pits with guns blazing only to be rescued by the deadliest alien warrior residing within the walls of their prison. Radiance revolves around a human princess, Ildiko, and an alien prince, Brishen, who are to unite their kingdoms through marriage. The two races find each other physically repulsive, so you can say this was a match made in the fiery pits of Tartarus.

I absolutely adored this alien romance which is really a romance about two unique characters from different kingdoms. That was my exact thought once I saw how extremely popular this category of romance books had become. When Chet’i warrior Ehai travels to Earth to track down his missing brother-in-arms Kavox, the last thing he expects to discover is his fated mate. Or that she would be a beautiful blonde human female.
