The DAS-10 book is one of the most comprehensive business decision support systems that Ive ever seen. The book is written in a clear and concise way. I like that the book is written for people who are familiar with other decision support systems, and who are looking for a quick-reference.

The book is also written in an easy to understand and yet very detailed way. The book explains the entire process of creating and deploying a decision support system.

This is a little more difficult than it sounds, but it could be the reason why I think many of us don’t have the confidence to learn to use the book in our daily lives. Because I want to learn more about everything that’s out there. The book doesn’t have to be written in an abstract way (as is often the case with the DAS-10 book) but it can be written in a very specific way.

The first chapter is focused on the actual design of a decision support system. There the authors explain the process of designing a single system, how the actual system works, and much more. This chapter is extremely detailed, and although it is written in a very readable style, one has to work extremely hard to understand what they are talking about.
