On upon removing the lid of the container I was at first taken back by how dark the cream looked. I was expecting a light rose colour and it seemed more like a terracotta colour. The smell was a very light fragrance which was lovely. The texture of the cream was smoothing and it felt lovely on my skin. After the five days of testing the product I felt it gave me more of a glow and the colour of the cream supported my facial complexion.
